Here is a truly wicked Halloween theme party invite your friends to a fancy dress witch and warlock party.
Prepare land area by transforming your party into a magical grotto. Drape the furniture in black sheets (this will also help protect your furniture) and set up a altar with a Book of Shadows and some magical decorations. You can purchase these items in a new age store, or make your own, covering old books and using a light fitting globe for a magic crystal ball.
To make a book of shadows, cover a large book with black paper. Open the book and ask flat. (Do not do that with a book that you want to keep!) Glue all the pages together except the two where you opened the book. Glue two sheets of printed paper with spells on them (you can print spells out the Internet) to open pages.
You can also paint the pages with acrylic paint white stick images of unicorns and other mythical creatures when they are dry.
Prop the book on the altar – you can use a book rest or rest against a candle in a bottle. Add candles in candleholders black black, a set of tarot cards and some crystals.
To make the crystal ball, place the side light fitting globe in a round black box – the box should be too low for the entire globe, so it sits on a stand. Drape it with a silk scarf and do impromtu "readings." If you can eliminate up to a light in the box to activate and make the ball glow crystal, it will be an excellent presentation.
