How can you burn a candle in a votive candle holder and still get the remaining fire out when it did?
I do not have much luck with votives and anytime I burn them, the little candle to put in is usually lost forever because I can never get all Out of the old wax. I just bought 2 stalks votive candle holder as part of my holiday decor and like to keep them clean, obtain not screwed up the first time I have to spend a birthday. I tried to add water in the bottom method-but it never works.
I actually make candles glass bowl and I reuse the pots I use for my personal candles. What I do is put some water in a saucepan, fill it until it reaches about half the size of the candle. Then, heat up that the wax is melted well and pour excess wax Out. Before drying wax candle used in the paper towel to dry the interior. Be sure to wear oven mitts or something because the candle holder will be really hot.
