How to write a slice of life?
I write a slice of life story that depicts the experience of a Grade 8 young student. This is somewhat similar to mine, but I'm not used to writing slice of life. Can you help me?
A slice of life is concentrated in a few hours on the time value or, at best, one day. If you do experience the Grade 8 student, while your writing of it must be only a few hours of actual experience and not all of Grade 8 or more days worth of Grade 8. Slice of life means you're slicing an experiment to explore the character's life – microscopic somehow. Looking only a small little moment in the life of a character. Does that help?
