What goes well with meat lasagna, salad and bread (nothing flat).?
I prepare a light dinner at my church and need a sense of direction. I want to serve lasagna, salad and bread (probably garlic) and some type of meat (no dish). Because we are on a tight budget (I person/100 $ 2.00 per person). I need suggestions or ideas that will work. I have to include a dessert and punch too. Thank you and please note this event in your prayers. B
Generally, when you have lasagna, you have not serve as an additional meat, the sauce often has meat in it – or the amount of cheese is enough protein for a meal. Lasagna, salad and bread is a perfectly acceptable meal itself – this combination is often served in restaurants. If something is forcing you to add another based meat – the only thing that I think would work would be Italian sausage or meatballs. Good luck, I hope that comes off well.
