Why are Red Wing fans complainants greatest in the sport?
Whenever they lose, it's always the fault of the referees. I work for a sports talk show in Detroit (97.1) as a screener phone, and easily more than half the calls I get are Red Wings fans to complain about how bad the ref calls claimed victory … the wings of a blade, eh?
Thats not TRUE. There are times when sometimes calls are the fault of the ref, but it's not like the wings complain for weeks, and have the refs on their side for the next two games (cough Cough Nashville). For example, the Dis-allowed order of interference goalkeeper, against Anaheim during the regular season, I will not lie … I'm sorry and it was a mistake refs. Because if it was goaltender intereference really, how come no penalties were called? Or the "Hit the incident Mesh" on the San Jose goal in the Reg. Season well. Refs Fault. But, overall … I always give credit when its due, I'm not a sore loser and I'll eat humble pie all the time. It's just that if we lose, I want to lose when I know that we were not giving our best efforts. Not because "Silly Dis-allowed objective" or 2 referrees on the ice did not see the puck up and press the mesh.
