Can I glue together a broken handle on a pot lid? If yes, what type of glue should I use?
I just broke the handle on a pot lid. This is part of a set and fits perfectly all my pots. I do not want to buy a new game comes to replace lid. I wonder if I can glue it back together. I am worried because the intense heat associated with cooking. The jar lid covers my stove and a large pot and gets plenty of use. Thank you!
Many glues will work but I wouldnt do it. Changes in temperature could cause glue to fail at a bad time. Try to contact the manufacturer to see if they can give you a replacement.
