I have many collector plates. (1980 mostly), I would like to use them as funky dishes. Is it safe?
Much of them are plates style Normal Rockwell. I'm pretty sure they are all from China. I know they need to be handwashed. I like the look of them together with other types of dishes for the locale, but I fear they will have harmful chemicals (lead, What if you have placed as a loader with a plate of clear glass dining outside on the top plate Rockwell? (just to be sure)
