Is there a rule on the mixture of lime and / or lemon juice in a bowl of metal? Is it the food taste funny?
I was a conch salad and could not find a large metal mixing bowl. The recipe called for lemon and fresh lime hurry. But I remembered having heard that the food does not brown or get a bad taste. Please advise.
Highly food acids such as citric juices strong will react chemically with the metal. It's basic science. It can be dangerous to themselves and to spread bowls tastes funny food. Use glass if you can.
