Handpainted Turkish

Handpainted Turkish
Does anyone know if the Turkish tiles hand-painted Iznik are durable enough for outdoor fountains (in water)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!!!

I can not really answer your question for sure Guess (just a layman) — but I am eager to use tiles of Iznik me similarly. I suppose you need to know if the tiles were fired after painting, and if they were sealed with a coat of varnish? Genuine Iznik tiles are quite expensive, as I'm sure you know! What trying to get some replies that have been mass produced, not so much a risk, I do not know where you are, but I would be interested know where you got your flooring? I am in the UK and have found none at a reasonable price, then I'll buy in Turkey on my next trip. If you are unsure as to whether the tiles will be ok, you can try to buy a ready made fountain. I found the Moroccan fountains I like. Not authentically Turkish and Iznik, but depends on whether it should be Iznik or not? Try this http://www.moroccan-furniture-decor.com/cat_moroccan_fountains.cfm I am tempted by them!
