Glass Candy??
Does anyone have a quick and easy recipe for "Glass Candy" or suckers home?
RAINBOW GLASS CANDY 1 3 / 4 c. plus 2 c. soup. sugar 3 / 4 c. plus 2 c. soup. syrup of white sugar 1 / 2 tsp Boil water in a saucepan to 290 degrees on a candy thermometer. glass or 3 small metal bowls, measuring 1 / 2 c. Tea seasoning and a few drops of food coloring. Quickly pour 1 / 3 candy in each cup. Mix quickly and pour into a baking sheet lightly greased with sides. Cool pan until that the bottom of the mold is an ambient temperature to the touch. Drop pan on the counter and candy break, like glass. To clean equipment, water, place 1 / 2 full in a cooking pot above. Place all equipment and boil on high speed until the equipment is clean.
