I sell a coffee table on craigslist for $ 65. Someone wrote me to inform me the table, I do not sell is a rare Teak Eames era table and that I should sell for thousands. What Eames Era? Or when should I say? It has been inherited. Hm! Thank you. Very useful.
It refers to furniture from the mid-century, designed by Charles and Ray Eames (see link). These pieces have been widely taken and continues to be today. If you bought this at a retail store, there is no probably a replica. If you inherited, this may be the real thing. Note, however, crooks craigslist. Someone may tell you how valuable it is because they want you to send a check for $ 5000 and you send them the balance. Do not fall into that.
