Does anyone know what type / brand of pesticides commonly used in the gardening or agriculture in Malaysia? Pesticide is a chemical that may help prevent the deterioration of vegetables and fruits. It can be divided into herbicides, fungicides and insecticides? Thank you ~
Hope this helps answer your question-A study was conducted to study the residues of organochlorine pesticides and pyrethroids in fruit and vegetable market in Malaysia. Gas chromatography with detector electron capture (GC-ECD) was used to determine concentrations of pesticide residues and SAX / PSA was used as cleaning. Cypermethrin was detected in 38 of the 302 samples of vegetables with an average value of 0.47 mg / kg. The average value of cypermethrin for tomatoes, parsley, Chinese, Chinese celery, chilli, brinjal, french beans, mustard and green pepper ranged from 0.16 to 1.48 mg / kg. Average values all samples were below the maximum residue limits (MRLs) allowed by the Malaysian Food Regulations except for brinjal. None of the 206 samples fruits tested showed pesticide residues
