I heard that you can make a cookie jar into a lamp. Does someone know how or know a site that explains how?
You need to drill a hole in the bottom or side of the pot to allow the cord out and on the lid of the jar to allow the stem of the lamp to "poke" Out. You will most likely need a masonry bit if you have a cookie jar ceramic. Have a lamp kit. I'll have what you need to convert your jar into a lamp. It is available at the hardware store or the lamp. Just tell them what you do and they can help you get everything together. Use a heavy adhesive to attach the lid to the base. Choose a cool shade and you completed. It's pretty simple.
