THE TRUTH ABOUT GRAIN

Grain has become the breakfast "21st century" and today most adults have been eating this fast, easy to make breakfast for most of their lives.

Cereals can be classified into two types: cereal for children, which usually comes in bright colors, is extremely soft and is composed mostly under form of white flour, corn or rice. And cereals for adults, which is a little healthier, a little more natural and is generally made from flour wheat, oats or rice.

The truth about grains, regardless of whether it comes in a box decorated dinosaurs or a box that shows a woman, slender young, is that it has very little nutritional value.

Cereal is a trap which many of us have bought into question the television ads to convince us that it is a great breakfast for children it can help you lose weight and it's good for lowering your cholesterol and improve your digestion.

The reality is that Grain is mostly flour and sugar and everything is not only very high in carbohydrates but very low in protein: the opposite a healthy breakfast.

Lose weight with cereals is almost impossible because the bowl is about 35 grams of carbohydrates which is what a woman trying to lose weight should eat in an entire day. And improve your digestion of grains is more difficult than to lose weight because the milk that you use to eat with the causes of indigestion, not to mention that most grains lack the fiber offset the amount of flour they have.

Most cereals sold at your local grocery store are equally rich in sugar and carbohydrates as ice cream or even cake, only they are more expensive. The only cereal that is really nutritious and balanced are cereals raw, like flakes and muesli, which is a mixture of grains of different materials. Even so, Muesli considered only as a breakfast nutritious when it has no sugar and fruits and seeds and nuts to add protein.
