I want to bring my father to the Cape May Lighthouse for Father's Day?
I was wondering if we are allowed to climb the lighthouse and what do I know? My father loves Portland Head Light and all the lighthouses of New England, because that is where I'm from. I am now in New Jersey and I want him to get to Cape May Lighthouse as a surprise. I do not want to get there and have it any wonder that we can still go up?
Yes, you can go up the lighthouse I did. I think its 199 steps or something like that. There was no tour guide, we just paid and walked up ourseveles. The view from the top is great! They also have a small measum you can visit along with (of course) a gift shop.
